Job Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for leading, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects. You will work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed scope and quality standards. You will act as the bridge between business/clients and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities / Duties

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders

Create and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets

Coordinate internal resources, external vendors, and third parties for smooth project execution

Monitor project progress, track key metrics (cost, time, quality), and adapt plans to mitigate risks

Identify and manage risks, issues, and changes in project scope, ensuring proper change control

Facilitate regular status meetings and communication with stakeholders, reporting on progress, risks, and deviations

Ensure deliverables meet quality and compliance standards before handover

Manage stakeholder expectations and relationships, including clients, sponsors, and team members

Ensure all project documentation is complete and updated (plans, reports, lessons learned, etc.)

Conduct post-project evaluation, extract lessons learned, and suggest improvements to processes

Mentor and guide project team members; resolve conflicts and align efforts

Oversee contracts, procurement, and vendor management as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Proven experience (typically 3+ to 5+ years) managing projects from initiation through delivery

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, hybrid)

Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skillsable to interact with technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

Solid financial acumen: budgeting, cost control, forecasting

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello, etc.)

Familiarity with change management and quality assurance practices

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

(Optional but desirable) Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), etc.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Masters degree (MBA, MSc)

Experience in the specific industry (IT, construction, marketing, etc.)

Experience in a matrix organization or across multiple simultaneous projects

Knowledge of process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma)

Experience with enterprise-level project management tools or PPM (Project Portfolio Management) software

Experience with vendor/contract negotiations
